White pork is the name given those that are not Iberico, although there are other breeds such as the Duroc pork that are often crossed with the Iberico pork. White porks are large, light in colour and have short legs. They are bred intensively in farms on rich food and do little physical activity.
White pork breeds have undergone genetic selection to increase meat production, and as a result they have lost their ability to store intramuscular fat. At Victoria Foods we are specialists in crossbreeding, in order to offer the best solution for the specific needs of our clients.

Iberico porks graze freely in pastures, feed mainly on acorns or barley, are more slender and have longer legs. These breeds, which have barely been touched by genetic selection, grow slowly and retain their original characteristics.
Iberico porks are dark-skinned and well-adapted to the sun and the inclement weather they experience in their outdoor life. This results in an increase in fat infiltrating the muscle and fat stored below the skin, making their meat very tasty. Victoria Foods offers one of the best selections of Iberico pork available internationally.
BEEF
Beef is obtained from adult cows and calves and is classified according to whether it is white meat, which comes from young animals, such as veal or sweetbreads, or from red meat, obtained from adult animals, such as cows or bulls.
Younger animals provide tender flesh and delicate flavours. Their meat has a high water content and little fat, whereas the meat from older animals is a darker colour and has a higher content of yellowy fat.
